Logos with Emerge Studio.

Working in Emerge studio I had the opportunity to design a number of logos and really enjoyed the process and the end results. Here are few of my favorites that I’d like to share with you.

Crisis Assessment Response
& Evaluation Team

Client
Client: CARE Team at CCSF

Year
Spring 2024

I designed this logo for the CARE team while working in the Emerge Studio practicum internship. The CARE team wanted a logo that was warm and non-authoritarian. I chose a low x-height typeface that I think made it feel very grounded and safe. I used the illusion of the infinity symbol to wrap around the letters that could be further interpreted as being safely surrounded and supported. My solution was selected by the client.

Faculty Diversity Internship Program

Client
FDIP of CCSF

Year
Fall 2023

The FDIP wanted a logo that was inviting and showed growth and reflection. I drew inspiration from the original program that FDIP developed out of—the “Grow your own” program. I wanted to do something that had an organic feel but still honored the other aspects of the program. I designed my petals to spring out of diversity and circle back to program; a hope and intent of the FDIP. I chose a slightly rounded solid
sans typeface for the logo-mark to create an open but warm and friendly feel. This solution was selected by the client.
