Promotional Posters

Most of my promotional posters were done in Emerge Studio. Emerge Studio is the in house practicum internship class through the design department of
City College of San Francisco.

Festival of the Moving Image

This poster was for the 12th annual Festival of the Moving Image. I designed it in the Fall of 2024 for the Cinema and BEMA departments of CCSF. Based on the first moving picture that included special effects the French film “A trip to the Moon” this was my homage to origins of film. From the image—straight from the movie—but updated to reflect the current drive of the festival, to the typeface that nods at the drama of original film, I created an engaging and nostalgic poster.

This project was created as a fictional event for
an identity design project in an advanced graphic
design class.

Theater Production

My solution for this promotional borrowed from the vibes of covers from Blue Note records around the time this play is set to take place. Additionally utilizing a re-creation a very popular typeface of the time, Tempo along with the always timeless Futura, to give it a post-war jazzy feel.

Festival of the Moving Image

This poster was for the 112th annual Festival of the Moving Image. I designed it in the Fall of 2023 for the Cinema and BEMA departments of CCSF. Since audio arts were being included for the first time ever I wanted to utilize the typical symbology of film strip and reel as well along with the sound bars to represent audio. There are multiple themes that pay homage to film the setting sun to nod to the them of “now or never” as well as the classic Hollywood ending of riding off into the sunset, and of course the road leading off to the horizon definitely has a “yellow brick” vibe.
